As a Sandton SPCA supporter, you’ll know that sterilising pets is the only way to bring an end to the tragic problem of pet over-population – and the suffering, cruelty and neglect that’s part of it.
Educating pet owners about the importance of spaying and neutering is an ongoing part of our work – whether at schools, here at the SPCA, or in the communities where we run much-needed outreach programmes.
One of our major outreach initiatives runs in Alexandra – and that’s where our team will be working – in conjunction with the Environmental Health Department – on September 27th. In addition to educating community members about proper pet care, we’ll be offering free sterilisation and rabies vaccinations, too.
If you’ve already generously sponsored a spay, thank you! If you’d still like to sponsor R450 – or contribute towards a spay – there’s still time. Your direct transfer into the Sandton SPCA’s account by 27 September will ensure that your gift is put to work during our outreach day.
