Spending one week in kennels is stressful and lonely enough – but three months? That’s how long Tello waited for her forever home . . . before finally going home on 14 December – not a moment too soon!
To many people, brown dogs like Tello are nothing special – they’re the ‘plain Janes’ that are so often passed by without a second glance. And that’s sad . . . not only because this breed, the Africanis, is indigenous to South Africa, but because these animals are typically incredibly healthy, loyal, character-filled animal angels!
